Spirits Tastings
I offer a range of fine drinking experiences tailored to provide an elegant and unique experience for you and your guests. I specialise in educational or social tastings and pairings as well as brand focused experiences.
Tasting packages are ideally conducted with groups of up to 20 people and can be served either as a stand-alone tasting or with food – either a specially selected pairing or simply a selection of delicious canapes. The complexity and structure of the tasting can also be tailored to your preference – from complete novice to expert, structured or informal - and provide a perfect activity for corporate events, dinner parties and bachelor or hen’s parties.
As a WSET certified spirits educator, I have many years of experience hosting tastings and always enjoy a good conversation about Whisky, Tequila or any of the other fascinating categories of spirits!

Whisky’s of the World
A sensory journey across the world’s great Whisky producing regions. In this tasting we’ll explore five whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, America and South Africa complete with an introduction to history, regional flavour profiles and production differences.

Single Malts of Scotland
Often considered the benchmark against which all other whisky is compared, single malt Scotch offers a bewildering number of regional styles and categories. In this tasting we explore Whisky from four of the major Scottish regions and provide an introduction to history, regional flavour profiles and the whisky-making process.

A curated selection of the Emerald Isle’s finest, showcasing a range of styles and brands that show why Irish Whiskey was once the most popular spirit in the world. In this tasting we’ll explore whiskey from around Ireland and Northern Ireland and provide an introduction to history, regional flavour profiles and the whiskey-making process.

American Excellence
Discover the rich complexities of Bourbon country in this tasting that explores four exquisite expressions of the great American spirit. In this tasting we’ll explore Bourbon, Rye and Tennessee Whiskey and provide an introduction to history and the whiskey-making process.

Tequila
Donald Trump might be building a wall but that isn’t stopping Tequila from becoming one of the world’s fastest growing spirits. In this tasting we’ll explore Blanco, Reposado and Anejo Tequila’s, learn the difference between good and bad tequila and provide an introduction to history and the tequila-making process.

Brandy and Cognac
South Africa’s favourite spirit has a long and fascinating history stretching from the Old World to the New. In this tasting we’ll explore brandy and Cognac from South Africa and France as well as an introduction to history and the brandy-making process.

Gin
Once relegated to your grandmother’s liquor cabinet, gin has seen an astonishing comeback in recent years and is now one of the world’s trendiest spirits. In this tasting, we’ll explore how botanicals give gin its flavour, compare some of the world’s most iconic and interesting gins and learn about the history and production of gin.
